Guiding Principles of Worship

In the Celestial Church of Christ MN, an Onibode (also known as a side man or side woman) is the church usher responsible for maintaining order and ensuring that worshippers feel welcomed. The role is considered an integral part of the pastor’s ministry, allowing Onibode members to influence both new and current church members.

  • Maintaining the organization and tidiness of the church before Sunday services.
  • Bearing incense and lighting candles (for male ushers only).
  • Writing down spiritual messages when delivered by a Prophet or Prophetess.
  • Politely correcting members' behavior and guiding them inside the church.
